  1. Ahhh I knew that
  2. Coolio! And one more thing... can the default markers be changed, those being mine (Administrator - blue blob with a house) and the members (red blob)?
  3. Does it also work like a normal Google map in being able to add locations of different places (e.g. event locations)? And if that is possible, can different markers be created to differentiate between forum member locations and event locations?
  4. Installed and looking ok so far :) Obviously the more members who add their location, the wider the map zooms out?
  5. Thanking. I'll have it installed soon then :)
  6. I'm running 3.0.3 and will be soon upgrading to 3.1.x. Will this modification work on both versions... without any problems (as mentioned above)? Also, is there a way to limit the zoom-ability... if that's a word because some people will get funny about the map actually showing where people live and not just pinpoint to an area. Or is that not possible?
  7. Via the ACP, you can allow HTML to be used in both signatures and posts. You will find many modifications on IPB resource sites (e.g. Invisionize, Invision Modding, Invision Tweaks, etc...). If you're looking for a specific modification, by all means ask here on IPS and a member will be able to point you in the right direction.
  8. Yes I know. I went onto the vB homepage yesterday and thought I was in the wrong place so had to go back into Google and re-type vbulletin and then it clicked  I saw the screenshots and thought WOW, that is very much different and... quite similar to IPB. I did think many existing vB customers wouldn't be too happy. And I've just been on there to see what how one particular thread was escalating and... it's gone
  9. To be honest, I think vB may look at extending that deal because of all the negative feedback they've received regarding v4. But only time will tell, which "may" be too late. It's a shame they're going about it that way and giving existing (and new) customers approx. two weeks to take advantage of this heavily discounted price.
  10. I am in the EXACT same position as you! The Community Skinners are working to bring some of the famous 2.3.x skins up to 3.0.x. You can find the Community Skin Projects forum here... http://community.invisionpower.com/forum/430-community-skin-projects/ But basically...
  11. No it's not wrong... http://www.invisionpower.com/products/board/convert.php Click on Woltlab Burning Board 3.0 and you will see polls from WBB 3.0 are not converted to IP.Board 3.0.
  12. Do you mean when suspending/banning somebody via the ACP because I'm pretty sure the above is already incorporated when using the "warn bar" which I know worked in 2.3.6.
  13. That of which I understand/makes sense.
  14. The search function on 2.3.x was A LOT better than it is on 3.0.x. The current search facility reminds me of some kind of method used in libraries.
  15. I didn't know tickets were "auto-closed" When I've had IPB issues in the past, I (the customer) choose to close the ticket when I feel the issue has been resolved.
  16. Within the IP.Board forum section, could a dropdown box be added for members to choose the board version they're referring to because as we know, there are a lot of differences between 2.3.x. and 3.0.x and if I (and others) are trying to offer assistance to other members, I find I'm always asking what IPB version they're querying. I would have suggested sub-forums but this can get complicated and look messy so a simple dropdown box like there is in the Tracker would be good :)

    Alignment

Currently, these are the default IPS skins for 3.0... - IP.Board - IP.Board 3 XML - IP.Board Lo-Fi More from IPS will be released in due course, but not yet. Therefore, ANY OTHER skins are down to the responsibility of the skin author/creator as Michael has said... twice! I don't think I recognise the first one you posted but I do recognise the second one. I'd have to dig around to see who/where that skin came from, but I assume you already know that. As per your other thread... ...Brandon also told you there...

    (Double post. See below)
  19. I asked the same question... http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/296313-forwarding-pms-303/ Michael (who used to own Invision Modding) replied with... That may well be the case in 3.0.x. That requires a modification, which is available for both 2.3.x and 3.0.x.
  20. I wasn't sure if it was a bug, but merely an error on my part when editing the code hence putting it here. But thanks, I've found the reported bug in the tracker... http://community.invisionpower.com/tracker/issue-16597-fast-reply-abnormality/

    Fast Reply

I may have encountered an error, but it maybe because I have reduced width board? When viewing posts, the Fast Reply box at the bottom of the page (when not activated) looks like this with these errors... When you activate the box, it then maximises... So is this a problem with the default skin with people on reduced width boards or is it to do with the code I edited to have the board reduced?
