  1. The easiest option is to make every page on your IPS Community Suite use a secure connection. To do this you would need to ensure your web host has HTTPS support enabled on your site and then simply edit conf_global.php and change the URL field to https:// and that's it. One thing to keep in mind is that your users, if you allow it, can still paste in links to externally hosted images which might not be secure. This does not impact the security of your site but it may generate a browser warning indicating your site has "mixed content" meaning some is secure and some is not. You can optionally enable the Image Proxy feature to make externally linked images route through a proxy on your local server to maintain 100% secure content. Image Proxy Options Where is this option under in the admin panel? Thanks.
  2. Only Login/Registration Forms and AdminCP Secure If you prefer not to use HTTPS for your entire site, we do have a setting to only use secure connections for login, registration, and AdminCP. I assume you need to have a SSL purchased on your server for this to work? What about Commerce? Is it covered by this option as well?
  3. Yeah, I just disabled Member Map for now. Easier.
  4. Here is what tech support said: Hello, the problem is indeed in the membermap application. One user has a wrong location which is causing the issue. /home/gripboar/public_html/applications/membermap/extensions/core/MemberSync/membermap.php(113): IPS\membermap\_Map->getLatLng('<p>\n\tTest\n</p>') I would suggest to contact the membermap coders for further support. I don't know what you mean here. I can duplicate this issue on my forum for anyone that has selected a marker. So, it appears someone selected a wrong location and it is causing the issue? Thanks.
  5. confirmed when I disabled the membermap application the problem went away. However, I have another site running the exact latest Invision software (the latest) and it does not have this issue?????
  6. Updated to the latest member map and it appears to be causing an issue with member profiles now. I made a change to a member profile, clicked save, and got this error. The change to the profile was saved however. RuntimeException: BAD_JSON (0) #0 /home/gripboar/public_html/applications/membermap/sources/Map/Map.php(207): IPS\Http\_Response->decodeJson() #1 /home/gripboar/public_html/applications/membermap/extensions/core/MemberSync/membermap.php(113): IPS\membermap\_Map->getLatLng('<p>\n\tYoutube:\xC2\xA0...') #2 [internal function]: IPS\membermap\extensions\core\MemberSync\_membermap->onProfileUpdate(Object(IPS\Member), Array) #3 /home/gripboar/public_html/system/Member/Member.php(3031): call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #4 /home/gripboar/public_html/system/Member/Member.php(347): IPS\_Member->memberSync('onProfileUpdate', Array) #5 [internal function]: IPS\_Member->save() #6 /home/gripboar/public_html/init.php(434) : eval()'d code(25): call_user_func_array('parent::save', Array) #7 /home/gripboar/public_html/applications/core/modules/admin/members/members.php(889): IPS\autowelcome_hook_validatehook->save() #8 [internal function]: IPS\core\modules\admin\members\_members->edit() #9 /home/gripboar/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(85): call_user_func(Array) #10 /home/gripboar/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(129): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #11 /home/gripboar/public_html/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #12 {main}
  7. So, if I upgrade it should remember the current markers placed by members? Thanks!
  8. I only see permissions for Form, Calendar, and Gallery. Nothing for Member Map. No one can edit their location once placed now. Members already gave that feedback and I tested it too and I cannot even edit my location as Admin.
  9. I installed this...where does it show up exactly. I marked Member Map per the instructions. Thanks.
  10. Said to PM you. jucs over on invision. Been with Matt since his first forum software and started using it way back then.\

    Thanks.

  11. Link please? Thank you!
  12. It is way better than subscriptions in my opinion. It has way more features of viewing data of users, etc. You would need to purchase Nexus with your 3.4.9 board. It will convert your subscription base (it did for me). Right now Commerce is deficient in the subscriptions feature that will effect NEW users who might want to purchase so I have held off upgrading to 4 until they get it (it is coming supposedly).
  13. What happens if someone tries to purchase a subscription? I assume the subscription packages do get converted so existing customers do not have an issue per say. Just a repeat of the quote for this to get answered on the future of PayPal Subscriptions in 4.0. Thanks.
  14. Do you have a work around? What happens to the functionality if you convert to 4.0 and you have an existing user base with subscriptions via Nexus? Thank you!
