Sorted out, the entire plugins folder also has to be writable, not just hooks.php Too bad the support tool doesn't check all folders for having proper permissions.

Moved the forums recently, to a new server, more or less everything works as intended, except for this message when I'm trying to install plugins and languages update: Your plugins/hooks.php file must be writable to create or install a plugin or application. I set the flags but it's still showing me this warning. What else I can do?

I run a large forum with 35,000 users and have approximately 40GB of attachments from old posts that are no longer being visited. I decided to manually delete these attachments through the admin menu, it involved a lot of clicking since there were about 1,200 pages with 25 attachments on each page. After hours of manual clicking and removing old attachments, I managed to complete the task. Unfortunately, I encountered a problem where the posts still contained links to these attachments, which were no longer functional. This included both image thumbnails and actual attachments in formats such as ZIP files, but all of them were dead and inactive. Is there a simple way to remove these dead links to the deleted attachments?

Probably since the most recent update (1.4.0) new users stopped have flags next to them, additionaly some old users lost their flags. When I run the tool to add flags to all users, it sometimes adds missing flags, and sometimes it doesn't for some users. Is there a bug? I've tried both detection methods, and using IPS one currently, I see no difference, both options give me the same results.

Oh, ok, didn't know there is a hidden patch, I didn't get any notification about it, and damaged another 2 threads of mine.

Hope it will be fixed fast, this is critical bug to me.

Hello, There is a thread on my forum that I created over 5 years ago, today I edited the links in the first post of this thread, and suddenly after saving the changes the first post became the newest and disappeared from the position of the first post. The second post in the thread became the first post. Does anyone know if this is a bug?

What I did to prevent this spam now was: - added in IPB keywords for verifpro, crypto, datebest, pump_upp - for "Hold content for moderator approval" - banned IP in cloudflare: 109.107.166.230 (server-109-107-166-230.vmbox.cloud) It did the trick, for now anyway.

I have similar problem since like a week or two, same type of spam. From old and recent forum users. I'm not sure what to do, and why I have this. Was my forum hacked or it's something else? Shall I Force Password Reset on all users? btw. what message will be emailed to all users if I do? Will there be info that database was hacked? I hope not, users will freak out and blame me. Is there a way to edit a template for such email just in case?

What to do with lazy users, who will never return to the topic and click on the mark as solved button? Can the forums staff have the possibility to tag such posts too, not just topic starters?

The author of this plugin is long time gone. I cannot ask him. 😕
