  1. From experience it may be best to talk about all this tomorrow. I haven't seen anything from @Adriano Faria or @-RAW- that would show to me that they "can dish it out" as you put it. I fail to see how either of them are lazy. I see the both of them replying to support topics and such. Devs can't make everyone happy. As you should know after checking out your site. Just smile and be done with it.

  4. I actually have the same problem on my site. Or did at one point. I had a member download his file over and over 77 times running up my bandwidth. He did it numerous times. I finally put an end to it by posting on my guidelines that anyone caught downloading files over and over will be banned. I can see uploading a file then testing it to make sure it works. Or even checking your file later on and making sure it works. I wish IPS or a developer would create something that would stop it. That way I don't have to continually monitor the issue.

    Question, Sorry, I do not have the time to view 28 pages of posts. My question is, can I make it so that iAwards works so that iAwards are automatically added or do I have to do the awards manually?
  7. I might have misread Micheal's post. The way I read it was when someone sends a PM and someone receives a notification by email they respond to the email instead of going to the site to log in to respond. Because I created a email for my site that is only used for the site I have access to that email and when someone replies to a PM notification email I get the reply not the person who sent the PM. I managed to fix the problem for the most part adding a message to all PM notifications to please log in to my site and reply by PM. I think what is being asked is if your plugin fixes this problem or if it could be added later? This has nothing to do with your plugin but a problem for some communities. That is the way I read the post. Hope I explained this good and that it makes sense.

    Giving access to the ACP is risky I agree. But, giving that developers want (for the most part) to keep a good clean reputation are not going to do things that put your site or members at risk. I am sure they know better then to put their reputation at risk by doing something stupid, They can't make any money if the community does not trust them and they have a bad reputation. Just something to think about.

    This is not how I read her responses. She offered to get access to you're site so she could take a look around and see if she can fix the problem. You didn't want to do that. She offered to even set up an environment (which most people wouldn't do) to see what might be going on but you still want a refund. I am sorry, but I fail to see how her support was "sorely lacking."

    I have giving access to a few people and have never had an issue. I created an account just for that purpose and the account stays as a member unless someone needs access then I change it. I think from what I know and seen of the developers here on the site you don't have anything to worry about.
  11. I have the same problem. Some images show and some don't even if I refresh the images on the site or rebuild the thumbnails. As stated, I tried two of the web services and same thing.

    Forms Support

    This is my problem when I post, what I meant to say is if someone gets a custom made plugin or application. For example, If you add a feature to "Forms" then yes, it should be supported. However, if someone hires you, or another developer for that matter for a unique plugin or application then that is when what I posted comes in to play. I am seriously bad at posting as people seem to read what I say wrong. I am working on it.

    Be sure you get a quote on what it will cost you to keep this updated if IPB releases an update that makes this not work properly. I do not mean to be negative, but be sure to get that. This is with all developers and not directed at Mike John. It is thought and should be considered as smart business.
