  1. Well...Marc, your question about OHP lead to the solution. I am so thrilled and ecstatic I could kiss you on the forehead. 🙂 Apparently, when I presented the error to Powweb help desk, they worked with me for almost an hour in the chat box reviewing several PHP related areas. While at the same I was going to my site to see if it worked. They did a bunch of stuff that didn't work; however, when they changed PHP from version 7.4 back to 7.3 it worked. BTW: in this entire process I did find a couple of other minor things which need to be fixed: but those are pretty easy compared to this one. We'll do that another time. I want to thank you and the folks at IPS for sticking with the problem. Nice work guys and especially you Marc. I love good troubleshooting and especially when the problem is found and fixed. This problem is solved. Ivan Rivas
  2. As a non-admin, I can not post in the "Pirep Input" area even though I have permissions to post. -------------------- So double checked "Tester" and set it in the "Pilot" group. Password is "********" sent via PM. Attempt a Post in the "PIREP Input" section. The error will present itself there. "TesterA" is set to "Pilot" group as primary and "Admin" as secondary". Same password. TesterA should be able to Post in the PIREP Input section. Ivan
  3. Just as a note. Wanted to make sure this problem is not marked as solved if that makes a difference in others looking at it. If it's marked solved it might not show up in active trouble posting searches. Daniel F marked this as 'Solved' and it is not as you can see from the other posts. It was just part of a process for the overall problem which still exists. Wanted to make that clear and thank Daniel F for your clarification on where the files go. And thank you to everyone else as well, Jim and Marc. So problem, above where non-admin members can not post anywhere where allowed, is still active. Thank you to all for trying to solve this with me. Let me know what else I can do. I did perform a full back-up again of my database and Site just in case I need to do something drastic. Ivan Rivas
  4. Marc, Thanks for keeping up with this. I've been to the permission section at least a dozen times hoping to find something different. That was actually the first place I went too. I even created another non-admin role and tried to post but the same thing, could not post if not an admin type. Pilots are allowed to post their Pilot Reports (PIREP) in the PIREP Input sub-forum in the Administration Department. As you can see, they have permission to "Post New Topic's" but can not. Anything else I can try? Ivan Rivas
  5. I just completed the overwrite of those files and while the site is up and running, we still have that same problem of Non-Admin members not being able to post. Only members with an "Admin" as primary or if I give "Admin" as secondary can post. So it looks like in order to post, you have to have an "Admin" type access either as primary or secondary. Ivan
  6. Do I put the ips_**** folder in the root of my site and another folder?
  7. Hello, 1. So after the last update, which I accomplished a few weeks ago, when my folks who are in the "Pilot" group try to post a new topic they receive the error in the attachment. 2. At one time I did get a bar which said I needed to go to the AdminCP and reset the theme...but I can't find that anywhere. 3. If I have any other group like admin, I can post okay. I looked at the permissions for Pilot and they looked just like they did before the upgrade. Anyway, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Ivan
  8. Thanks everyone. This is very helpful. I'll post something on my site to let everyone know this is happening and what they think. Looking to press the "Go" button at the end of the month. Again thanks. And Randy, thanks. That helped a lot. Ivan Rivas
  9. So, this is probably the wrong place, but I am so burned out I apologize. Right now I have my database with Powweb and hosting of my IPS message board. I also have the main domain, lynxairways with Dotster which is difficult to get things done. So I want to put the entire hook-line-and-sinker hosted by IPS. I did go to the client site and saw the hosting process, but I was unsure even there what is provided and more importantly, what i want. So how to I get this entire process going? I look forward to it. You can move this post to where it belongs. Ivan Rivas
  10. As you can see, when I upgraded the Browser button and Activity button are in the header where the logo goes. This is not a custom theme, it's the default IPS theme I've been using for years. If someone can assist me by pointing out where in the CSS is the code that I use to probably add a space or two between then to move that section down. I've been looking for almost two weeks to see if I could find it by myself. No luck. Thanks, Ivan
  11. Both answers I'll try of course. For the Bookmark, where do I put that? Please be as specific as you can. Thanks.
  12. Is there a file or graphic which points and names all the sections of the site. This would help a lot in maneuvering within the CSS and HTML files. Thought I'd ask. For example, the attached graphic. Thank you. Ivan
  13. That's what happened to me and I just had to go in and enable it. Working fine so far.
