  1. What does this even mean? Just applied the upgrade on our site and just about all links are not working. IPS Support is currently logged in and looking at it. @Ryan H.
  3. @Marcher Technologies Trying to see if this will indeed suit my needs. I want to be able to import a RSS feed and have it post the articles from that feed as individual topics in a specific forum by a specific user account. Then I want the content posted to be truncated to just a few characters, specifically the title of the article, and have a link to view the full article on the author's website. Trying to avoid scraping articles from their sites. I have quite a few feeds we would like to add this way and Invision's builtin no longer allows truncating.
  4. I want to only display pinned topics.
  5. How do I make this only display pinned topics, like in the previous versions used for 3.4.x?
  6. We have lots of subscriptions with automatic renewals. Since the 4.0 upgrade a few weeks ago, we have continued to see the usual flow of Paypal generated emails coming in for member renewal payments being processed. I read this topic and panicked a bit. But then i went into my admin control panel and started checking transactions, members who we got renewal emails for, etc. It's all working properly. The ones we received Paypal emails for have indeed been renewed for another year in the software. Three more confirmed renewals since I made my original post. As far as SSL goes, I would never operate a section of a website involving payments and not have SSL enabled for it. Personal preference but we're a business and need to take every step possible to assure paying customers all is legit and professional. I've never used the hosted version. Good luck..... :/
  7. Preface: We host our site on our own server and have always used SSL for any financial transactions done on the site. This topic had me quite concerned. I upgraded our site to version 4 a couple weeks ago. I had to go back and put the API key in the Paypal gateway again as it was cleared out after the upgrade. In reading this topic today, I was worried that renewals were not happening in the site software, but only being billed/charged via the renewals on Paypal itself. Fortunately, that is not the case. Renewals are being done automatically on the site as they are processed via Paypal. Whew!
  8. Just wanted to stop by and say than you for quickly resolving those issues. Downloaded the update as soon as you released it and it worked like a charm. Thanks again!
  9. Disregard, worked
  10. A couple of issues with our install on IPS 4. Note: the install restored all of our pages from 3.4.x as expected, which was GREAT! When in our Admin Control Panel, going to Members - Staff - Moderators. Clicking on Edit for any moderator or moderator group throws up the following error message: Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: IPS\easypages\Page::$firstCommentRequired in /home/bayour8/public_html/applications/core/extensions/core/ModeratorPermissions/ContentGenerator.php on line 96 Would like to know how to resolve. Second issue: When editing or creating a page and using an image hosted on our server, it replaces the URL with <___base_url___> when the page is saved. Then the image does not work on the page. Any thoughts on this?
  11. Here's our site: Just did the upgrade to 4 yesterday, so there's plenty more skinning left to do. Fortunately it's been much easier to do in 4 vs 3!
  12. I'm now in this boat as well. Waiting to see what they eventually say......
  13. disregard/delete
  14. had to put a 0 in the brackets for javascript:void(0) instead of javascript:void() as suggested
  15. Somethign weird happens when I do that. Tried both javascriptvoid() and # It selects the url of the most recently used app, then adds that ( javascriptvoid() or # ) to the end of the link. And it is clickable, then takes the user to that app. See examples below:
