    The plugin works (Kind of). It does what it says and it's a critical feature on my community. Whilst it works I am not very confident in the support from @Tom Irons. If you've recently moved a load of topics and they're no longer in their right place; then you're in for a assload of spam in your error logs. I first bought it to the attention of the developer in August 2016 then again in October and again in December... and I've had no reply since which is bad form for support. Buyer Beware: If this plugin outright breaks you might not get support. It somewhat works on the surface but deep down this plugin has a major problem with it, that I've not had support or contact from.
  1. @Tom Irons:- This is still an issue and I've not heard anything back from you.
  2. @Tom Irons: This is still an issue and I have over 3,000 objects in the last 30 days now spamming up my system error logs. Is there any update to this issue?
  3. I've found a rather strange error (this and another plugin) that when you go to view a topic that has since been deleted it throws an EX0 error, instead of a "Couldn't find" page.
  4. @InvisionHQ I think I've found a bug with one of @ehren.'s themes (Shift) on https://domain.tld/?app=motm if you have already voted for someone and you try to vote again the error message presents itself like this:
  5. No problems man. You enjoy your vacation Edit: It seems forcing it to uninstall (Uninstall > Crash > Delete Files from FTP and so on) and then reinstalling it seems to have fixed my problems, so no rush. I'm completely willing to chalk that up to my server doing what my server does best.
  6. Oh it appears I've already reported this:
  7. Yeah it used to work fine for me too, I'm still on version :/ Then all of a sudden it stopped. I wonder if it's conflicting with another plugin/application. Edit: No. Apparently not. :/ I guess I will uninstall the app and reinstall it. Edit2: Well that didn't work either...   8. There seems to be a problem when trying to look at account notes in the Moderator Control Panel: https://domain.tld/modcp/members/?area=notes OutOfRangeException: (0) #0 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Member/Group.php(107): IPS\Patterns\_ActiveRecord::load(NULL, NULL, NULL) #1 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/membernotes/extensions/core/ModCpMemberManagement/Notes.php(72): IPS\Member\_Group::load(NULL) #2 [internal function]: IPS\membernotes\extensions\core\ModCpMemberManagement\_Notes->IPS\membernotes\extensions\core\ModCpMemberManagement\{closure}(NULL, Array) #3 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Helpers/Table/Db.php(383): call_user_func(Object(Closure), NULL, Array) #4 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Helpers/Table/Table.php(424): IPS\Helpers\Table\_Db->getRows(Array) #5 [internal function]: IPS\Helpers\Table\_Table->__toString() #6 /home/SITE/public_html/init.php(434) : eval()'d code(33): call_user_func_array('parent::__toStr...', Array) #7 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/membernotes/extensions/core/ModCpMemberManagement/Notes.php(107): IPS\Helpers\Table\hook1355->__toString() #8 [internal function]: IPS\membernotes\extensions\core\ModCpMemberManagement\_Notes->manage() #9 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/extensions/core/ModCp/Members.php(81): call_user_func(Array) #10 [internal function]: IPS\core\extensions\core\ModCp\_Members->manage() #11 /home/SITE/public_html/applications/core/modules/front/modcp/modcp.php(67): call_user_func(Array) #12 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(96): IPS\core\modules\front\modcp\_modcp->manage() #13 /home/SITE/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(129): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #14 /home/SITE/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #15 {main}
  9. Okay I've found another bug. If the topic is deleted or inaccessible (Say to that usergroup) and yet they still have the URL for whatever reason then it'll throw an Out Of Range Exception: OutOfRangeException: (0) #0 /home/site/public_html/system/Content/Content.php(81): IPS\Patterns\_ActiveRecord::load('35') #1 /home/site/public_html/init.php(434) : eval()'d code(73): IPS\_Content::loadAndCheckPerms('35') #2 /home/site/public_html/init.php(434) : eval()'d code(89): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\hook1257->manage() #3 /home/site/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(96): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\hook1311->manage() #4 /home/site/public_html/system/Content/Controller.php(46): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #5 /home/site/public_html/applications/forums/modules/front/forums/topic.php(40): IPS\Content\_Controller->execute() #6 /home/site/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(129): IPS\forums\modules\front\forums\_topic->execute() #7 /home/site/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #8 {main}
  10. He was giving examples in where he had seen that before, he never stated you did it. There were other examples that didn't involve pirate-anything. Why are you so fixated on the pirate one? You could make a separate account and severely restrict that account's access to what Flitterkill needs. That's exactly what I did when I had troubles. After the support you can easily revoke any ACP access rights to that user account. I've had to have Flitterkill in my ACP and I can indeed vouch for his trustworthiness. He did exactly as he should of. Also 'totalitarian plugin' that's a new one on me, the way I see it is that it's quite the opposite because it gives you a metric-eff-tonne more control over your own forums. I myself consider myself to be a Libertarian so I'd like to know how you came to this conclusion, and I seriously would love to hear your thoughts on it (Perhaps in PM?). Also you potentially made a serious accusation there of 'code looks taken from other mods on here' can you provide evidence for this assertion?
  11. Fair do's. Thanks, had time to test it and it appears to work very well.
  12. No it's not irrational. IPS doesn't support it because it's not their job to, their job is doing what they do. They should not have to support every Tom, Dick and Harry's mods, that should be up with the Tom, Dick or Harry that released it. As for what is that share for, I'm sure that's none of your business. But if IPS wants to tell you; ask them and they will. They take 'a share of the plugins price', one would assume, because they're hosting a platform which allows the community of developers to make modifications to their software, I'm pretty sure that's their right to do that. I'm all for reforming certain inadequacies of the marketplace in the interests of Consumer Protection! But saying that IPS is irrational for not supporting what modifications other third-party dev's make is in-on-itself, irrational. Not only that but it's downright insane. That responsibility belongs SOLELY to the developer that made it. There are over 1,000 mods for IPS4 alone, and I rather think IPS has enough B.S to deal with, with their own software at the moment.
  13. The problem is Andy, I didn't know this topic existed until MadMan pointed it out. What I meant by this shady nonsense is the fact that the modder in question (as well as a few others in the past) seemingly took as much money as possible promising support, before running off into the sunset, leaving the people who now rely on it wondering if they'll ever get support for it, ever again... Which they paid for by the way. This one in particular hid all/most of their things instead of being up-front and honest with their customers, who again... Paid for the support, and expect the files to be kept up-to-date as that's what we paid for. Then to top it all off, we have hilarious mental gymnastics of trying to push the blame on others except themselves which is the bloody icing on the cake! As if it wasn't bad enough; the policies of the marketplace are not very consumer friendly and there are no protections for customers in these situations, which allows for this crap to happen time and time again. For those that can't see why I'm so angry about this, this is why: To which I responded with this: Well I'm pretty damn angry about this. Screw the people who actually paid you to support your files, and reasonably expect updates. You've screwed any trust I had in you. Do you have evidence to back up this claim? Because when I've had problems like this IPS have told me "This is because the app is outdated, and uses old API calls." It seems to me some of these can easily be changed but I don't know for sure. At any rate: Why don't you take this up with IPS, instead of punishing the people who paid for the application? Then why make a commitment you can't keep? As for unrealistic demands, there's nothing unrealistic about paying for the support and expecting it. If you're making an account deactivation mod for example and someone wants to make it so that it auto-deactivates inactive accounts you're well within your rights to say 'No. That's not what this app does.' It's also well within your right if you're asking for $40 but someone thinks it's only worth $4, to tell that person screw off. I think over generalised and sweeping statements like this makes it look like you're playing a blame shifting game. If you committed to supporting a product you released, you should keep up with those commitments. Instead you've hidden everything and kept your customers in the dark. Whatever... Do what makes you feel better. Screw the customer, right I'm still angry about this.
