    Just a reminder to update the Theme Differences tool, since the latest version on that is still .19 Beta 3

    Novus by ipsfocus Novus is a clean, modern theme with a professional colour scheme, dropdown menus and sticky navigation. The optional background picker allows your visitors to customize the theme to their own preference too! This theme is built on a modern framework with minimal HTML modifications, which means it'll upgrade easily (and usually automatically) between IPS versions. Theme features Theme Settings Easily enable, disable or modify theme features such as background images, logos, social media links, guest messages and colors. This makes modifications and upgrades very simple since no code changes are required. Minimal HTML edits This theme has only 3 modified template files, which means in most cases, you will not need to install theme updates between IPS versions. Too easy! Sticky Navigation The navigation bar sticks to the top of the screen, allowing for easy access to your popular links at all times. Available in modern browsers only. Dropdown Navigation Menus All sub navigation links are placed inside a dropdown menu which is visible on-hover. Background Picker (optional) If enabled, your members can choose their own header background image from a predefined selection and their choice is saved via cookies. This feature can be customized within the theme settings. Mega Footer (optional) A mega footer with configurable column numbers and content can be enabled and customized all within the theme settings. Social links Social links from over 20 sites can be customized via the theme settings, allowing you to easily link to your social network pages (facebook, twitter, etc) Global message Display a message across the top of your site with important announcements. Once your members have seen the message, they can press the Dismiss button to remove it (until you configure a new one). Guest message A customizable message can be shown to guests, prompting them to either register or login to your forum. Two designs, "billboard" and "alert" (shown) are available. HTML logo with slogan Easily add/edit your text logo and slogan from within the theme settings. If required, the text can be replaced by an image instead. Latest Topic on Mobiles The latest topic title is visible on tablets and mobiles, allowing more convenient access to your latest content for mobile users. Retina Ready All gradients, shadows and icons are generated using css which means your site will look great on all devices - even those with high resolution screens. A live demo can be seen directly on ipsfocus!

  3. Theme colour settings

    The same issue has appeared in 4.1.18 with the two factor authentication. A customer sent this to me yesterday: A white background was hard-coded into #elTwoFactorAuthentication > div. Using {theme="area_background_reset"} instead of #fff is a far more elegant solution. For future updates like this, please make use of the existing colour palette. There's no point having so many theme settings if they're ignored completely. Hex codes shouldn't even exist in the css at all to be entirely honest.

    The theme has a few blocks of text which are in English. If you need help translating these to Russain, I'll be able to direct you to the correct template files. The theme is compatible with 4.1.17.1 Both the light and dark themes can be viewed on my demo board. I do not have any links readily available for other sites.
  5. Chameleon // ipsfocus.com

    Hello, The theme was intended to be a light (white-ish) theme. But yes, there are colour settings which allow you to change the background colour if you wish If you're interested in a darker version, I'd suggest going with Chameleon Dark.
  6. Hello, After continued use with the theme system, I figured I'd post some of my feedback here. --- The 4.x theme system currently has 58 colour theme settings, which may seem great for customization at first, but it can quickly become a burden when trying to create a consistent colour scheme since so many colours need adjusting. An ideal theme system would include maybe 4-5 primary and secondary colours with different shades. Those colour settings would then be used throughout the suite by all elements, instead of having individual settings for the most basic elements (when's the last time someone modified the Rating "hover" star value for example)? I understand this feedback will not be implemented into 4.1 or 4.2 due to the extensive nature, however a simplified theme system would make customization infinitely more efficient compared to the current system since you'd be able to adjust the entire colour scheme by modifying only a few values. --- Secondly, countless areas of the css code fail to utilize the theme settings. The introduction of the leader boards is a perfect example of this. Upon upgrading to .17, I realised the hex colours were hard-coded into the css, which means it's necessary to modify the css if you want to adjust the leader boards. This means that every dark theme is not naturally compatible with the leader boards due to code like this (from leaderboards.css): .cPastLeaders_title span { background: #fff; /* ... */ } .cPastLeaders_cell { background: #f5f5f5; /* ... */ } --- If there ever comes a time where the theme system undergoes a redesign, I'd be very interested in offering assistance to make sure it's the best on the market.
  7. (.webp) images support

    WebP is only natively supported in Chrome and Opera, so I don't imagine this would be very high on any softwares to-do list.
  8. Show us your IPB 4 sites!

    @Dylan Riggs @Mark Round As long as @ucjohn has purchased my theme, plus copyright removal, he's welcome to modify it as much as he likes. It most definitely uses an ipsfocus theme as a base since there are a bunch of .ipsfocus classes in the code - but it's modified enough to look very different. I don't have any copyright orders from you ucjohn and I'm unable to access my marketplace orders right now, but if you can PM me to confirm that you've purchased both, then I don't have a problem with it

  12. I'm aware the Billing Agreements are the recurring payments, yeah - but I needed to find the actual transaction id for the individual payments in each recurring payment. I've had this feature custom-coded for my site, so all fixed.
  13. Hello, I've recently upgraded from Nexus to Commerce and have noticed a few areas requiring improvement, in the ACP. ------- With Nexus in 3.x, the Paypal transaction ID was displayed for each payment - which made it very easy to find the customer on Paypal (sometimes they use different email addresses compared to my site, so an email search isn't possible). With Commerce in 4.x, the Paypal transaction ID is no longer shown for billing agreements. An example of this is below. I need to find this transaction on Paypal, but the only way to do this is to search for transactions from June 22 on the Paypal site, and check each payment until I find the right one. The billing agreement ID cannot be used in Paypal's search feature, but transaction ID's can. The payment on the Paypal site does have a transaction ID (like all payments), but it isn't displayed in my ACP. ------- Additionally, it would be very helpful if the search feature was more powerful with Commerce. Every 3 months for tax reasons, I need to search for Australian customers who have purchased from my site, and then find their transactions on Paypal. At the moment, the only way to do this with Commerce (as far as I know) is to: find approved transactions from April 1 - June 30, which produces 30+ pages of orders in the ACP. I then need to scroll through all of those pages, clicking on every purchase, then checking the customers country to see if it's Australia. The search feature needs to be severely improved, allowing us to narrow down results such as: find approved transactions from April 1 - June 30 from customers in Australia. The current method is beyond primitive, turning what should be a relatively quick task into an hour, if not longer. While these features may not apply to a large group of admins, I feel as though they're significant enough and would greatly assist any admins who manage large numbers of customers.
  14. Hello!

    Your skin came out with errors, you can not send any messages because you can not write. What do I do?

    Uniform 4.x //ipsfocus   ----------> error!

  15. Last week, I upgraded my site (including Commerce) from 3.4.9 to 4.1.x. After the upgrade, numerous customers of mine had either: lost access to their purchased products, been demoted from 'Customers' to 'Members', been placed into the approval queue, or had lost their account entirely. After sending a critical ticket to the support team, it was promptly escalated by @Lindy and a custom script was created by @Ryan Ashbrook which was used to fix the corrupt data. Despite the severity of the issue, there was minimal impact to my site and the issue was successfully resolved last night. Whenever issues arise on my site, I need them resolved as soon as possible since a majority of my members are paying customers. The Invision support team were very responsive with their replies, so on behalf of myself and my customers - thanks for the great support, it's very much appreciated!
