  1. Is there a possibility that we could get an exclusion rule for the iCredits in the download section. Here is my current situation 1) Allow members to donate via IP Nexus to promote them to a group that can download more 2) Use iCredits to allow members to exchange activity on the site for more downloads What I would like to do is allow my basic members to use iCredits and exchange new topics, replies, blog posts for more downloads, but exclude my premium member groups who have donated money via IPNexus from being required to use iCredits for downloads. This way users can choose to either donate funds to download, or be active on the forums and download.
  2. Yeah I checked up and down for a "stats" folder, but it just does not exist. I have been running IPB since 2005, so who knows what modifications over the years have left their traces behind. I did as you said and changed all instances of "stats" to "statistics" and now the page runs properly. Are there any plans to show the top users with IP Content database edits? Thanks again for the quick response and guidance.
  3. Yeah, I have been arguing with them for the last few days. They say the issue is outside their scope and to contact the person who coded the modification. Is anyone else running Real Stats on BlueHost? I already checked and I have NO modifications that use \stats, nor do I have any IPContent pages residing there. Marcher, how hard is it to change the URL of this mod? Maybe from community.website.com\stats to community.website.com\statistics?
  4. I am running 3.4.7 and just installed this on my board. However it just goes to a 404 page (on BlueHost). Which is weird because IPB catches all my 404's on both my main and sub domain http://community.retromags.com/stats/ but try... http://community.retromags.com/statsareveryfun Thoughts?
  5. +1 for IP Content points for activity. I have 20,000 records that I want my users to contribute to :)
  6. Is that what the Forum Activity setting was for? Would it be possible in the future to have greater control over IP Gallery points awarded. I want to reward users for uploading images to specific categories, but not for uploading images to their personal album's. Sort of like how we can give points on a per forum section, would be nice for the Gallery.
  7. Also would it be possible to award points for logging in each day, controllable by a max rate per day/hour. Maybe something like, 10 points per visit, time between visits 6 hours. This would prevent users from visiting and signing out and back in to get the points.
  8. Can we give points for members making edits to IP Content Databases? Or even better, assign points per field in IP Content Databases!
  9. I am looking to take the next step with my community, and start selling physical items. I would guess that I will have somewhere in the ballpark of 5000 unique items to sell. At first I was just going to use IP Content to create a database that contained all my products and then assign generic Paypal code to each item for purchasing. However the simple Paypal button code will not allow me to prevent overselling. If I want to prevent selling an item that is out of stock, then I need to log into the Paypal website and generate an encrypted button to track stock. Now with 5000 items, that is just not a task I want to take on. I am not familiar enough with the API calls for Paypal to generate on the fly buy it now buttons. Plus running a sale (ex 25%) looks to be even more work when using these buttons. My other concern is organization. With 5000 items, I will need to have some way to know where product is when it is sold. Again with IP Content I was going to have a hidden field in the Database that only I could see....that would tell me where that product is stored. It would just be a text field like "Box 1". Can Nexus do something along these lines? I wouldn't mind also letting my members sell items through my marketplace. I assume that I can allow them to set up stores? Can I charge them a flat store rate for each month? Or can I only do a percentage of the final sale price? With 5000 products, I am looking to keep things tidy. Can I allow IP Gallery to handle the images and use them from within Nexus? Last question, I remember there was a product or mod that allowed people to donate and be automatically moved into a new member group.....and after a set time....they would move back to their old group. Does IP Nexus now handle that as well?
  10. slider

hmmm, just noticed that no matter what changes I make to the slider, they don't seem to change. I have tried recaching the block, using a different browser, dumping my browsers cache. EDIT: Nevermind, I should never do updates while the wife is nagging me to do something else. I disabled the old hook, but never deleted it......once I deleted both the 1.0.2 hook and 1.1.1. hook....and brought back in the 1.1.1 hook....it all worked.
  11. slider

That fixed it, at first I just moved the source from Articles to Database and did a save and reload....and then moved it back to Articles....but then I realized I had to go and select the categories that were blanked out before. Many thanks!
  12. slider

Just this block, the other blocks that work off of feeds (forum, database, etc) are showing the categories. I feel like this happened before, but for the life of me I can't remember what the remedy was. -Robert
  13. slider

Yeah, I also removed the hook and block again and reimported both......and did all the Skin tool rebuilding tools.
  14. slider

Last night I upgraded from 1.0.2 to the newest version. The slider is not showing.....and I think it is due to not being able to select a category.
  15. With this modification can I do the following? Hide specific fields from certain usergroups? My current database has 20+ fields of data, but I only want 9 of those fields to show (for editing) to the average user on my site. The only people that should be able to edit all 20+ fields should be my Administrators/Moderators. I know this can be done with IPContent, but I want my Admin's to see those fields on the record page, not have to go into the AdminCP to edit hidden fields. Hide specific fields based on categories. I have a few fields that apply to certain categories within my database, but not to others. It would be nice to prevent users from seeing unnessecary fields on the record editing form. Out of the 9 fields I want my average user to see, on certain categories I only want them to have the ability to edit 7 fields. Hide specific fields based on the value of another field in that record. I wanted to create a hidden database field called "Show" and that field would contain one of two values. If that value is "YES" than the member of my site would be able to edit 9 fields on a specific record......if that value was "NO" then when the user goes to edit that record.....only 6 fields would show for them to edit.
