Take note of the following, epecially if you accept PayPal. If you disable any of these options beware that without a billing address: Some payment methods will not be able to be used, including PayPal for card payments, 2CheckOut and some Authorize.Net processors. Any payment methods which are set to only be available to certain countries will not be available. If any tax rates use a rate that is dependent on the customer's location, the default tax rate will be used. Any Anti-Fraud Rules which act on the customer's billing address will assume the customer is not in the country specified by them. If MaxMind integration is enabled, it's ability to accurately detect fraud will be impeded. It is recommended if you use any of these features that you leave all options checked so customers are always asked for a billing address.

It'd be great to be able to automate an email after a subscription has been created. E.g a user signs up for a paid subscription, and I'd like to send them a thank you email and provide them with further infomation on their subscription.

It would be very useful if we were able to automate regular recurring bulk email. E.g I want to send a specific email to certain users when certain filters are met and would like to do this on a regular basis. Currently we can only do this as a one off email.

It would be great if we could use the language tags within alert content. e.g. {member_joined} etc

I'm using subscriptions. I'm genuinely surprised there's no native way to do this.

Hi, I want to send automated welcome emails which are to a specific user group, e.g. paid users who have purchased a subscription, with their user ID. I can't find any nice way to do this. Bulk email - would be a good option but can't schedule to run daily, and is not reliable due to running as a background task Alerts - this could work, but you can't use tags in content so I can't add the user ID Auto Welcome plugin - this is great but can't specify a specific group Language strings - can't change “email_reg_complete" as can't specify specific group and is very rudimentary Is there any other way or plugin you know of I can use? Hi all, thanks for the replies. I found the issue, I had malware on the server which had inserted a dodgy .htaccess file, I've restored to an early backup. But I have no idea how long the Malware may have sat dormant so looks like a full server move is now the next step.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is directly related, or if it occured earlier and I didn't notice. I've upgraded to v4.7.1.3 and my homepage yamahaclub.com is displaying a 504 “Gateway Timeout” Error, the main forum pages yamahaclub.com/forums are working fine. I have Invision pages displaying at the root, yamahaclub.com and forums on the subfolder. I've tried deleted my cache, cookies, etc, I've ran the diagnostic tool and deleted caches, and not sure what else to try? Anyway would love some help and would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Alex
