Zephers Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Upgraded to 4.1 a few months ago and things have gone well. however I just added a new forum for "help" tickets and I want it accessible to guests. However when I go to permissions the box to "see forum" is not active for guests... I cant click it in permissions. The category the forum is in IS viewable to guests but not this new forum. The old converted forums under the same category ARE viewable to guests. Why cant I set a new forum to be seen to guests?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Morrigan Posted May 24, 2017 Share Posted May 24, 2017 I don't know if you submitted a ticket or not but the thing off the top of my head is that you made the forum with the following setting off: And since Guests are technically not members, permission wise the forum cannot tell guests apart and so cannot give a guest view access into the forum.
