WJWM Posted May 12, 2017 Share Posted May 12, 2017 I get odd formatting problems when trying to transfer texts from MS Word (in this case Word for Mac 2011 v.14.6.9) onto our forum. On the screenshot the upper lines are from the original in Word, the lower as they appear on the forum. The bold underlined headline has acquired link status (with a null link) and sometimes on the texts underneath the link spreads across the whole line. The indents have not transferred. It makes no difference if one transfers the text by copy and paste direct from Word or by using web page preview in Word and then copying and pasting from the browser. The problem was not present under IPS3 but appeared after upgrading to IPS4 a few weeks ago. It's easy enough to repair these glitches, but annoying. Any thoughts? Thanks. opentype Posted May 12, 2017 Share Posted May 12, 2017 The 4.x editor allows rich text pasting. That can also transfer unwanted styles (and Word stylings are extremely messy).
