LDDG
Does anyone know why when I double-click on an attachment link after inserting it into a post, the URL does not have the http: or https: attached to it? In my case, it is missing the https: This makes it tedious for my members to simply be able to copy and paste this URL into my HTML5 editor which requires the full URL to be entered. I know members will start complaining about this. Thanks for any help!

The very website we are on right now (invisionpower.com) does the same thing. So it's not my theme at fault. Thanks for the response though! I wonder if it's just a setting that needs to be enabled or disabled.
Adlago
If only pointed attached with your mouse - what link you see below in the browser tab?

If you are referring to hovering over the link AFTER the post has been posted, yes, it will show the complete URL in the bottom corner of the browser. The issue is displaying the whole URL when you double click the link while preparing the post.

opentype
It’s called protocol-relative URL. https://www.paulirish.com/2010/the-protocol-relative-url/ Why do you need to copy and paste those URLs? I didn’t get that part.

I didn’t get that part. I installed a CKEditor plugin called HTML5Audio that allows me to embed an audio file with an audio player. When I click the button to embed the file, it needs the entire URL. Pasting //www.website.com/xxxxxx will not work. It needs the http://www.website.com/xxxxxx URL
opentype
I see the problem. I don’t see a simple solution keeping the existing workflow. But I found: if you open that link window and then click the “insert” button, the next time you open the window, it will be a full URL.

Even though it works, it only brings up the http: version of it and not the https: one. I opened a ticket and Marc is already looking into the issue. Hopefully he can help solve it. Thanks for your help as well, my friend.
