Braintree is a PayPal company which accepts credit card payments as well as PayPal payments. The client doesn't need to have a PayPal account in order to pay with a credit card. Tom_K Posted October 24, 2016 Author Share Posted October 24, 2016 I prefer not to rely on 3rd party addons for payment gateways. It's too risky. Braintree is a PayPal company which is already supported by IPS so this seems a logical next step. They support Bitcoin too and offer high security level with their 3D secure check (user has to ask to have it turned on).
