Syncing topics between 1 or all forums

It would be a great addition to add the ability to sync a topic to one or more forums.

As an example: I have several forums that have several specific software programs that create one device. Some of that software is globally used between one or all support forums. One of my users is having a problem with one of the software packages that is used in several support forums. This way I can sync the topic between one or all the forums when the topic is relivent to certin support forums.

Linking the topic is messy and could be confusing. There is a possibility the user could be transported out of their original forum by using the linked topic. Syncing could actually replace the linked function giving the admin better control.
