sobrenome
As long as the new IPS 4 has the so wanted ability to show guests fully cached static pages using memcached, I think it would be even better if besides memcached it could use Varnish for faster serving pages for guests. Is would be nice if IPS could gives a tutorial to configure varnish for guests. sobrenome
I guess that Varnish can make IPS 4 loads extremely fast for guests (also search engines - better ranking) and save the server for many requests.Don´t you think?I would really apreciate if IPS staff could help us to configure Varnish 4 for IPS 4 to get the best IPS 4 experience. LaCollision
Have you already configured Varnish for IPS 4?Yes, I'm using it for my website (with IPB 3.x currently), but I don't think there is a specific configuration for IPS on my server. sobrenome
So you are using the basic VCL? I am afraid that some tunes have to be done to avoid log outs, ajax unloading and to remove admin and moderation pages.
