superi
Why is this so? Why do you always have to write your password manually when you sign in? Many other forum software have this autofill thing that you only have to click the password field and the password appears automatically.
Cyrem
This has been corrected in 3.3.0 which is coming sometime soon.
superi
Until that, how do I disable the pop up window at sign in? The autofill seems to work when that pop up thing is not in use.

Rheddy
I don't see how this is a problem because "autofill" is not an IPB feature but rather a Windows or MAC feature. What you're referring to is the "remember me" when you log into your account, not autofill.
Peter F.
I don't see how this is a problem because "autofill" is not an IPB feature but rather a Windows or MAC feature. What you're referring to is the "remember me" when you log into your account, not autofill. It's not a Windows or Mac feature but something that is supported by your browser. The issue is that on 3.2 the way in which the signin form is loaded causes certain browsers not to recognise it as a legitimate password form (because it was created with AJAX) and thus do not autofill the username/password combo you use for that site. The hooks mentioned above were created to fix the problem.
bfarber
The login form was changed in 3.3 to address this concern.
