I figured that the easiest way to do skin upgrades from 2.3 to 3.1 would be starting with a 2.3-ish base skin.

All official IPS Apps are skinned (so that means no tracker, shoutbox, et cetera).

Please report any bugs, inconsistencies and requests in the bug tracker!

For anyone interested, I added the following to the bottom of ipb_styles.css to have the appearance a little closer to my IPB2.3 classic skin

/*

* Modifications 06/10/2010

*/

.row1 td {

background-color: #f0f5fa; /* Very light blue */

}

.row1 .altrow, .row1.altrow {

background-color: #dfe6ef; /* Slightly darker than row1 */

}

.row2 td {

background-color: #f0f5fa; /* Very light blue */

}

h4 {

font-weight: bold;

text-decoration: underline;

}

h4 a {

color: #222222;

}

#breadcrumb a {

font-weight: bold;

}

#breadcrumb a:hover {

color: #5176bc;

}

.desc {

color: #93969b;

font-weight: bold;

}

I just installed 3.1.1 and this classic skin. The bottom header is hard to read and all tabs are not working.

You can see here http://jeeptalk.net/jeeptalk31/

The classic skin is the only thing keeping me from totally moving over to 3.1.1, I'm still running 2.3x

Thank you for your attempt at getting this done.

Found out what the problem was. I'm testing with IE7 which most of my users still use. IE8 and Firefox shows up fine.

I notice that the search box follows the tabs on top to the right and the user login box is to the right using some of the real estate of the same horizontal line. If the search box gets pushed more to the right will this interfere with the user box on the right?

Many thanks for your contribution.
