Hi Everyone, I need to add a whatsapp chat icon linked to our support mobile with whatsapp with URL: https://wa.me/97150XXXXXXXXX I tried putting this whatsapp icon image in pop up but its blocking the whole page. Hi, can IPS show twitter videos like this one here: https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1194793005279956992/vid/720x720/Jn0ZKfZMGmCWq91l.mp4 embedded nicely and shown like youtube or vimeo? IPS support says its not out of the box feature yet. Perhaps someone made something that makes them work?

Hi all Still setting up here so apologies in advance for some dumb questions. I've set up some RSS feeds that create news-like topics for discussion but I want to noindex those particular topics/posts to avoid a Google penalty for duplicate content. I've looked at the meta tag manager but haven't quite figured it out. Do I manually block a category of urls (with a wildcard) in the Robots.txt file or can IPS generate the tags on each forum/topic as it is created? Thanks

On one of my boards, I have a particular bot that's in my online list with nearly 200 instances. I've banned the IP block (114.119.*.*) It shows as "petalbot.(with the specific IP address).aspiegel".com. Is there any better way of blocking that specific bot?

My .com domain name and private domain name renewed this week. Not sure if this is related, but two days ago, I was informed by users that they could not access website. Microsoft Edge users get "Hmmm. Can't find this website", and Google Chrome users get "This site can't be reached". I have no idea how to trouble shoot this, and of course it's Saturday. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have been in and out over the past 9 years and IPS has always been a home to me. While I do love the opportunity to create lovely community sites I often fall flat on my ideas. and seem to fail within the first few months. An Idea and vision is only the beginning of any community so I run into the worst situation I struggle most: advertising or marketing. So i've recently opened the clubs functionality on our community and went on to translate it, and It looks like there is a key there that's already being used in a different place. On the clubs page, when you want to add "Topics" you aren't ACTUALLY adding topics, but more of a forum, since the club members open topics inside of it (I hope that makes sense to anybody other than me). So I've translated it to say "Forum". easy peasy. To my surprise, when browsing a member's activity on their profile, I saw that under the activity filter bar, under "Forums" it say "forums" again. Hello Does it make sense to create a subdomain like “static.mydomain.com” in order to define the domain of cookies? Should I then add in the constants.php file the following 3 constants, namely: - \define ('COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'https://static.mydomain.com'); - \define ('COOKIE_PREFIX', 'prefix_'); - \define ('COOKIE_PATH', '/'); I'm not sure if these are the correct lines to insert into the constants file! I purchased it and installed it, but have no idea how to actually use it on my site (I'm a hopeless newbie when it comes to forum development). I've reached out to the company twice via their online contact form and have received no response. Their web forum is strange, they have a tutorials section but when I click the threads there seems to be no content, and there seems to be no way to post (I've registered). Hi guys, I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to provide me with a line of css. I have an issue with my directory that im pretty sure can be fixed with css. When you do a search on mobile, the map marker pop up that displays the company details adds a scroll bar, and it is a bit fiddly to use, sometimes doesn't work at all. I would like the scroll bar removed and just the whole pop up displayed, theres plenty of room. I was hoping something as simple as the max-height property would work but its not, or i'm just not finding the right selector. Hi there! I am trying to build a custom database where my members can submit records. I created a custom template to display each individual record.. the template displays text information along with 4-5 images. The issue I have is that when I am trying from the front end to add/edit a new record, it gives me the option to upload only the first photo. The rest fields are shown only as titles.. You can see in the upload_01.png, "Photo 1" gives the option to upload an image while the rest are like inactive. The board that I'm referencing in this post is fairly new (1 month live as of the 20th). I have Friendly URL's enabled, but index.php?/ is still part of the URL. Is there a good reason to rewrite the URL's to eliminate that? Is there an even better reason NOT to rewrite, such as major problems that it may cause? Like I said, the board is new, but there's around 50,000 posts at this point. I don't want to do something that's going to screw things up if the current setup is just fine.

Well I've started looking at the tag functionality on our website. I'm very new to this and I'm struggling to find my way around. One thing though – is that I found a list of tags – about 1100 pages of them including words like and, the, from, before, in – you get the picture. Isn't there some way of excluding all of these kinds of word? Thanks
