🥚 🐈⬛ Please check the emojis in the title with strange chars around them that are messing up the URL (see this topic's URL). The invisible chars can be deleted by doing a backspace around the egg emoji and (make its URL part clean) - egg-recipes-🥚🥚🥚 but not completely clean for the cat (was able to delete some invisible chars) - cooking-with-cats-🐈%E2%80%8D⬛🐈%E2%80%8D⬛ I copy/pasted the emojis from the editor into the title field and get these invisible chars. Hi, the sidebar has been moved from the side in the forum and now appears at the bottom. If I place it on 'Left' it is at the top of the forum, if I place it on 'Right' it is at the bottom of everything. I want to have it on the side.

Hello guys, We had this problem that the default profile photo was deleted or somehow removed or gone. Is there a possiblity that it somehow gone or removed after update? Im pretty sure it was not deleted as I was the only person responsible updating the IPB and for sure I did not removed it. Our default profile photo is a custom image, so just wondering what might cause it? Thanks -Allan, of Team Nigel

Hi there, We have seen a spate of new users that embed links into quoted text from other posts which is quite long. This then does not show the link, until the "quoted" text is expanded. Is there a solution, option where specific groups of users cannot add links to any part of the post, even if it is quoted text? Many thanks Hans

Hi All! One of my student told me she was not receiving any notification for a Topic she follows (it was working fine previously). I tested with a test account and I am not receiving any notification either. Any idea why it's (not) happening? PS: I'm wondering if it has something to do with the whole Gmail / Yahoo compliance thinggy. Are Invision's notification emails all verified SPF, DKIM, DMARC.

If we define "x.com" for example as a word filter to Replace with "****" matching Loosely, it only replaces the displayed text but not the underlying URL in the link if the user entered https://x.com (it still results in a clickable link as https://**** that is pointing to x.com). If the user manually inserted a link text x.com with the URL as https://x.com using HyperLink popup, the same issue manifests and results in a clickable link. This should actually result in an invalid/broken link (actually plain text due to **** in the URL) as per the filter definition and as expected behavior. I have a forum enabled with "Combined Fluid View" containing a child forum and a redirect forum/ URL. The redirect is not showing up on the right side panel that lists the child forums. I would have thought the redirect would still be visible (and none selectable) even though it cannot be used for filtering. For users to see the redirect is available they need to go to the main index page. Is this correct and by design? Ted.

I had a custom menu item made with the menu manager, which linked directly to some pages on the community (privacy, rules and so on) When clicking it in the menu bar at the forums start page, nothing happens: When trying to edit it, the page just reloads: When trying to make a new one, the option for it (and nearly all others) are disabled: What's going on?

Unknown issue with Spam Defense. Updated server (Ubuntu and Invision) on 1/26/24 and no issues with real humans creating accounts until 2/06/24. Now when real humans try to create an account, Spam Defense log has the entry twice and qualified as a "4". Is there a current known issue with Spam Defense?

Our forum/site has a lot of individual forums. I would like an easy way to follow all forums in a specific parent/category forum. Is that possible? And/or is there a way to use the REST API to automate following of forums? For example, I'd like to give users a way of following all forums in a particular category. Thanks.

Please see my comments in this post. This started yesterday, not long after I updated for the new patch. The reply box would not open. I cleared the site cache last night. Then it happened again this morning, the reply box did not open, I cleared the cache, it worked. Then a couple of hours later, I tried using bold and underline in the reply box, they didn't work. I cleared the cache, and they worked again. There are 0 errors documented. Members are frustrated. This site gets a four to five hundred posts a day.
