IP.Blog 1.4 Theme CSS Documentation

This guide is intended to be used by users of IP.Blog 1.4 as a basis for creating custom themes. Most classnames used in the blog skin are noted, but some additional utility classes, which are not styled in the default skin, are not covered. Advanced users wishing to make use of these extra classes can discover them by viewing the source of the page.

This guide applies to both the IP.Board Classic and Pro skins. However, if a user bases a theme on a third party skin, there is no guarantee that the classnames will be the same as covered here, particularly if that skin is vastly different from the default skins shipped with IP.Board.

In order to ensure a theme looks the same to all other users of the board, it is recommended that the user 'locks' a particular skin to their blog. This will ensure that the same skin is used as the base for the theme, even if another board user happens to use a different board skin. The 'lock skin to my blog' feature can be found in the Blog Settings popup from the main blog view.
